Currently the weather is about 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Winter of 2024 is coming up on Saturday, December 21th, 2024. This year, the weather is expected to be 50% or 40% warmer than average in NY. This is due to the expectation from La Niña of having a warmer condition in the South and East Coast and global warming, which happened for approximately 2 centuries. This trend may continuously cause a warming in winter in 2025-2026.
It is predicted that about 18-26 inches of snow will fall in New York State in a year. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem like there would be a blizzard due to the little amount of snow that NY is going to receive. This means there’s little chance of having remote days! Furthermore, it is expected that the coldest days in this winter will be between late January, 2025 and early February 2025. So be sure to wear enough these days!
