In this feature, we will shout out a club from QHSS and tell you guys a little about it. Any and all clubs can feel free to send an email to or tell any of our members to be a part of it. We hope to spread more awareness about the unique and tight knit community QHSS offers! We are honored to announce that for our first spotlight, we will be talking about the famous craft club!
Many clubs provided at QHSS can be very academic-heavy or time consuming. However, at the QHSS Craft Club, students come together to create small crafts with one another. From beaded jewelry, origami, to pipe cleaner crafts, there is never a dull moment at craft club. Riva, a sophomore and first year at craft club, simply said, “The people are nice, we have resources to do fun activities, (and) genuinely a fun experience.”
Not only has the craft club been a place to enjoy fun crafts, but it’s a space to express one’s creativity and relieve stress. As President Rod states, “From your own hands, you can craft kindness and inclusivity.” After visiting the club meetings, it’s very clear that the QHSS craft club has fostered a safe community for students.
